Joe and Mary Lou were born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. Joe taught Math and Computer Science at Penn Hills High School and Mary Lou taught Reading and Social Studies at Leechburgh High School. They were married in 2002. When they retired from teaching they moved to Venice Florida. They spend their Summers in Freeport, PA. Together they have five children and eight grandchildren. Joe took up photography as a hobby upon retirement and Mary Lou took up golf. They travel extensively, which affords Joe many opportunities for good shots. With the use of many computer programs, he changes the snap shots into photographic art. He has produced many books and videos of their travels and shows his work at many venues around the Venice area. Joe also writes articles about photo editing for Ultimate Photo Guide.
